The Steering Committee works with its Policy Chairs to sets its policy agenda annually. Each policy committee formulates policy priorities that the Coalition will work towards that year. The Coalition emphasizes the mental, physical, and communal wellbeing of the servicewomen and veteran populations. More.
The Military & Veteran Women’s Coalition has three policy committees: The Policy Committee on Sexual Violence, the Policy Committee on Homelessness, and the Policy Committee on Mental Health & Wellness. Each policy committee is headed by a Policy Chair, whom the Steering Committee votes in. The committees are comprised of Coalition Members who have expertise in each area. More.
